Q&A for the present and future you

Whether you find yourself all curled up with a blanket and a cup of tea, at the bus or in a crammed café, bring with you a journal and try to write a few lines about your feelings, thoughts and experiences from the past year; every day from now until new years eve. When you're finished - add some of your favorite perfume, rip out the pages and put them in an envelope. At this time next year, you can answer the same questions before opening and reading the “letter” you wrote about 2017. (Try not to open the envelope until another year has passed).

-Write about your favorite memory from 2017. What makes this memory stand out from the others?

-What song have you been listening most to lately? What does it mean to you?

-Is there anything you regret doing this year or anything you regret not doing? What does this say about you and how you should act in the future?

-Write some lines about what you think has been your greatest accomplishment this year, and why this was particularly significant to you? It can be anything from graduating to starting your journey towards self-love.

- How would you describe your dream life? Write a paragraph where you elaborate on this.

-Write about a person you are grateful for and why.

-Can you think of anything you’ve learned this year? Make a short list where you include both the abstract and more specifics, such as facts that interests you.

-Have you read any books lately where you identified with one of the characters? Why do you think you identify with this character?

-Write a bit about a challenge you've had to face this year, and how you handled it.

-If you could meet anyone in the world, who would it be? Why? What would you talk about and what questions would you like to ask?

-Write about a person you admire. What kind of values are important to you and how does this affect the way you see other people?

-Have you fueled your creativity in any way this year? Have you expressed yourself through photography, painting, music or other art formes?

-What are your hopes for 2018 and how do you think you can work towards/achieve these goals?
