Rosy + cruelty free skincare

Seaweed and clay mask

I use The Body Shop Seaweed Clay Mask once a week and it works wonders! It is truly amazing for oily and spotty skin, as it deep cleans while not leaving it feeling too dry. After use, the skin feels smooth, clean and glowing.

Au roma water

This toner from lush is one of my absolute favorites. It does exactly as promised: the rose water helps to calm and reduce redness, whilst the lavender water will balance and soften the skin. It leaves you feeling fresh but the scent is not too heavy. It is very gentle and works well also for sensitive skin.

Essential oils

I have bought most of my essential oils at a yoga retreat in the turkish mountains, but my favorite types are easy to get hold of. Almond oil makes the skin healthier, and works well as a hand and foot cream as it removes dead skin cells. The ylang ylang oil smells rich, unique and lovely. It can be used as a perfume, massage oil and in steam baths to reduce stress.

Rosebud salve

Smith's rosebud salve works great as a lip balm and it has a delicate rosy color. It also woks as an eyebrow tamer, makeup remover and works great to calm down frizzy hair. It is absoultley magical. Dab it on chapped lips, elbows, or knees to condition and relieve dryness.

Grapefruit lip + cheek satin

This is more of a beauty-product than a skin care product but it is such a great product so I thought I would ad it. This lip ad cheek satin from The Body Shop gives lips and cheeks a natural pop of color. It is quite thin so I would recommend applying some to your finger and then putting it on :) Simply dab onto cheeks for a rosy glow.

Mask of magnaminty

I have tried out so many face masks that does not work, but this one is a life saver. It is cooling and calming the skin, and I have fallen in love with both the smell and the grittiness. This mask is made with peppermint oil to stimulate, marigold oil and chlorophyllin to treat the skin and it gives a lovely cooling feeling as you wear it.
